How to find your favorite Marketer to Follow!

Thursday, November 27th, 2008

As I promised in my last article, this one will be about –

“How to find the best marketer to follow in your on line business.”

Making money on line and being an Internet marketer, is almost like doing sports.

Lets say you want to become a professional football player. When you start on your very first team (For newbies, that is) You don’t want David Beckham to coach you – I mean what a waste!!!

He knows all the juicy details of football, but you don’t understand them YET. A lot of other coaches with No Super Star status, could easily teach you all the basics in football – in fact they would probably do it much better than Beckham – because they are experienced and trained to do exactly that – Teaching Newbies – Later on, of course, AFTER you have taken action and practiced , what your newbie teachers taught you – then a weeks practice with Beckham would be like a dream.

You would fully enjoy every little tip, he would give to you and best part is, Now you would be able to understand and implement, all his gorgeous tips into your play.

Its no different when you want to find a marketer to follow. If you are new to on line marketing you need to find marketers, who promote them selves as “newbie coaches”.

Don’t ever believe the “total autopilot automatic money stream in minutes” programs. Save your money and spend them on a coach or some quality E books instead.

So how to find the right coach you probably ask yourself right now? Well in my humble opinion the “upcoming stars” tends to deliver very high quality. They are also very keen to build a good relationship with their customers, therefore they are often much more helpful and service minded than the really big gurus, that have thousands and thousands of raving fans.

This year on my seminar in London, I met up with some of the same marketers from last year.

And they are making HUGE progress, some of them very fast indeed – I’ll tell you how to recognize them – they are getting more and more passionated each and every day – because their business strategies are finally working – and it shows very clearly. They almost glow, red chicks (No just kidding) but they are very positive and very eager to discuss and evaluate. Thats how you recognize them – but of course you need to get of your duff, and attend seminars, to actually meet them. They are the perfect match for you, if you have managed the basic, decided what kind of business you want to be in. Try to talk to them – If they are passionated about affiliate marketing and that is the alley you want to enter then start there. Maybe later you want to explore the SEO area, then I can promise you, they know just the right people – just like I do know. I’ll tell you every time I come home from a seminar, I suddenly have business cards for upcoming copywriters, programmers, SEO experts, and what have you. Brilliant just brilliant.

So don’t be afraid to shop around - I have my favorites, that I follow, but I always have room for new ones, if they deliver High quality products or coaching products.

Best wishes,

Celebrate The Progress (even small ones) In Your Business

Thursday, November 13th, 2008

well,  I am back again from this years Focus Seminar in London UK.

This year I noticed a couple of very important issues, that I want to share with you.

The first issue I’ll cover is about making progress in your business.

After this years seminar I came home with a great feeling – the great feeling of how much I had accomplished in one single year.

Last year, everything that was presented on stage was completely new to me.
Talk about total brain melt down, when I got on the plane back to Denmark.

This year I didn’t have any problems what so ever to follow the tactics, the strategies and the tips, that was given from all the great speakers. And even better I got confirmed that, I am on the right path, and I have taken all the right steps to move my business forward. WOW what a cool feeling, that is.

This great feeling of my big progress, got even better when I talked to last years fellow marketers .

When I told them, that I had created “selling Scruffys”, my very own product – they all applauded me, and I Got a lot of new contacts, to share ideas, spare, and do business with.

I know you read a lot of sales promotion, where big gurus talk about the morning they discovered a lot of money in their bank account, as the day it all happened to them.

Well, I am sure it is almost the same feeling as winning the lottery – and we can all imagine how great and fantastic a feeling that must be.
Well, I find it even more important to celebrate every little step you take towards your success on line. That will keep you on a realistic journey forward, and it will push you on wards.

If you always focus on “what You need to do” - it gets negative and you see it as a boring task – you need to do.
If you on the other hand challenge your self, maybe by saying “ Now I will build a blog”.
Then See this task “building a blog” like a challenge - just like when you buy a a new table from Ikea – You just start following the instructions, and some of them might not be clear, and you have to try a couple of times, or even ask for help, but you want that table collected, so you keep going .

Implement the same attitude, towards the steps, you need to take in your business, and you’ll surprised what a change of mindsetting  -  can do for you.

Remember you promised yourself to take this challenge , so move on, ask again, move on, try again, and suddenly I got your self a blog.

Celebrate it, talk about it, show it - Be proud - you did well. Next challenge – build a website or Set up an auto responder or ……..and so on. Also be realistic about the time it takes to accomplish a smooth running long term business. Rome wasn’t built in one day Right :-)

In my next article  -  I’ll focus on  how to find the best marketer to guide you.

To Your Progress!

Tina Lindgren

PS: Talk again soon - and feel free to leave acomment - I love comments :-)
